Cameroon-Ebolowa : Priest accused of raping 3 year old

Martin Zé Ondoua, a priest of the diocese of Ebolowa is accused of raping a three year old.

The accusations were forwarded to the court of first instance in Ebolowa by a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) “Mandela Center”.

According to the NGO, which has been fighting for human rights in many domains of life, it all started on 29 May 2016. The young girl had to attend a ceremony during which their end of term progress report cards would be given to them.

During this ceremony, as the story goes, the 3 year old was nowhere to be found. What made her absence noticeable was the fact that, she had to take part in some of the activities of the closing ceremony

A search was done after which the girl was found in the room of the man of God.

She was taken to the hospital where tests were carried out on her. It was discovered that her hymen had been tempered with. The priest was therefore the only one who could be suspected to have been the author of such a horrible act.
