Cameroon: Paul Biya creates polytechnic in Southern Cameroons

The President of the Republic, Paul Biya, signed a series decrees on Friday, for the creation of some new professional institutions in the country.

Among institutions like; the faculty of medicine and pharmaceutical sciences of the university of Dschang, the Higher Technical Teachers Training College in Ebolowa attached to the University of Yaounde I, the Geology  and Mining Exploitation School of the University of Ngaoundere, was a National Higher Polytechnic Institute attached to the University of Bamenda, for the Southern Cameroonians.

This is during a period of crisis in that part of the country. School is not effective due to the calls for boycott by activists who are fighting for the liberation of Ambazonia.
