Southern Cameroons Crisis: Deputy Mayor of Ndu in Donga Mantung shot dead by regime forces

The deputy mayor of Ndu, Martin Fon Yembe is no more.He was murdered in cold blood and left to die aat his residence in Ndu by Cameroun security forces.We are still gathering more information as to the circumstances that led to him being shot.

 Martin Fon Yembe was a household name in the media world, not only in the NW and Cameroon, but as well a well known freedom fighter in Africa and beyond.Besides his politcal post, he was  a journalist and a human rights reporter.

He was the Executive Coordinator of ,GLOBINET, West Africa (Affiliated to the ACHPR at Banjul, The Gambia)., a Human Rights Group based in West Cameroon, monitoring and reporting on the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon.

Before the tragedy that took his life, Mr Yembe posted the following tweet on his twitter wall:

Tributes have been pouring in on his Facebook page as many of his friends are still in shock and disbeleif
