Afrobasket 2017: Cameroon plays opening game against Tunisia

The 29th edition of the Afrobasket competition to be jointly hosted by Senegal  and Tunisia, will start today 8 September between Cameroon and  co-hosts Tunisia.

This encounter will begin at 6pm Cameroon time after the opening ceremony. The Lions on the 11th spot in Africa, will be trying to contain and repel the Tunisians who are on the 8th position.

Even though their key players who play in the NBA like Mba Amoute are not there, the coach of the lions says, they have to fight hard especially as the Tunisians are playing at home.

Fans shall be enjoying the best of African Basketball this year from 8 to 16 September 2017 as a total number of sixteen teams hope to be this edition’s champions.
