The Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and animal husbandry Dr Taiga, is reported to have relieved three of the Speaker of the National Assembly's relatives of their duties for corruption allegations.

As a result, Cavaye in an infuriated state, threatened to eliminate the Minister from government.

In less than a month after the threats, Dr Taiga, on the 25th of July 2017, appointed new people to those posts; Mohaman, Oumate Abba and Hassan, thus proving to the Speaker that he was the one in charge and not him.

Following the tragic incident which occurred in the South West Region, which left 37 soldiers dead, the Head of State signed a decree Yesterday 27 July, declaring today Friday and Tomorrow Saturday, National Mourning days.

Flags all over the National Territory as well as in Cameroonian diplomatic centres out of the country, will be hoisted at half-mast in honour of the fallen soldiers.

This tragedy of the vessel called “MUNDEMBA”, occurred on 16 July 2017 during which it was submerged due to overloading, even though authorities claim that the cause of the shipwreck is unknown.

The Head of State Paul Biya, went to visit his village last Saturday, after cancelling his journey to Geneva in Switzerland.

On his table, are many documents about issues which he needs to sort out like, the organisation of the 2019 AFCON and the BIR vessel which capsized in the South West Region.

He is expected to be back by tomorrow Friday in Yaounde, where he will prepare to receive the Head of the Chinese EXIMBANK, and then afterwards go on an official trip in August.

Biya is reported to be very angry with his security service that allowed his daughter Brenda Biya to distribute wine in all of Meyomessala.

Faustin Archange Touadera, the CAR President was present during the inauguration ceremony of Vision 4 in His Country on Friday 21 July 2017, Cameroon-info:net reports.

His presence was a sign that, the Cameroonian based TV channel was welcome in his land. He decorated the personnel of the media organ with medals before it could even go operational.

According to other media outlets which are found in the locality where Vision 4 has its building, this move by the president indirectly means that, the communication sector in the Central African Republic is on a low compared to other countries.

The decision to open a branch of Vision 4 in Touadera’s country was taken in March 2017, during a meeting between its Director General Amougou Belinga and the Central African President on his first anniversary celebration as president of the Central African Republic on the 30 of March.

Vision 4 TV CAR belongs to a Cameroonian media group Anecdote. According to the Director General, this new TV Station will recruit some of its workers from that locality. Info:net further relates that, it is a Regional Television which extends right to Congo Brazzaville and they plan to make the channel available in every country where there are subscribers.

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation, Rene Emmanuel Sadi is expected to lead a meeting in Yaounde, which brings together governors of the 10 Regions of Cameroon. Talks will be centred on the security measures to be taken in Cameroon and the upcoming school year 2017/2018.

The conference holds at a time when some of the country’s soldiers died in a shipwreck in the South West Region, coupled with the restless menaces from the Boko Haram terrorist group in the Northern part of Cameroon.

Issues related to the hitch free start of the 2017/2018 school will equally be discussed given that, the English speaking Regions; North West and South West did not have a steady academic year and there are no signs of smooth resumption.

Another key issue that will be at stake is the Afcon 2019 which Cameroon shall host. Many things need to be met up with in the various Regions like roads, lodging facilities and above all stadiums, of which observers still wonder if Cameroon will live up to expectations.

An individual, spoke bitterly against the Cameroonian based private TV Station (Vision 4) who are reported to have ordered the arrest of a number of people among whom he was included.

“This morning during one of their ‘dirty’ programs, the people who call themselves dinosaurs of information, led by Ernest Obama, a journalist of the concerned media organ, read out some names which they said are of people who need to be arrested. We are accused of criticising the regime. Has telling President Paul Biya that people are suffering become a crime?” he pondered.

This man is the head of this list of miserable and poverty stricken people, who struggle to fit themselves into society. He is accused of incest and satanic practices in his family, which makes it even more difficult for him to survive in society with his “barrow pusher” business. He is despised by his friends and women for being dirty and dull.
