Issa Tchiroma: "There is no AFCON without CRTV"

Issa Tchiroma Bakari the Minister of Communication has said that CRTV needs to be present before the upcoming Afcon takes place in Cameroon.



The Minister who equally serves as the board chair of the State's broadcaster, was speaking on Wednesday at the CRTV production center in Mballa II,during a meeting which was meant to enlighten the staff of CRTV on how they should tackle the challenges the nations is faced with.


"As far as the African cup of nations is concerned, I always keep saying the same thing. No matter how marvellous the stadiums, turfs and buildings are, as long as CRTV committed and engaged to produce the signal is not ready, there will be no AFCON" Issa Tchiroma said.


The staff of the Cameroon Radio Television have been cautioned by Tchiroma to double their efforts and live up to expectations in the coverage of the African cup of Nations next year.
