Another Anglophone Member of Parliament, Hon. Fusi Namukong, of the Tubah-Bafut Constituency, has dumped Cameroon’s National Assembly.
The MP said he was divorcing the National Assembly to side with the people who gave him a representative ticket to the house before he his killed.
The MP’s decision is coming barely a week after five other Anglophone Deputies viz: Hons. Joseph Wirba, Mbah Ndam, Ndong Larry Hills, Joseph Banadzem and Bernard Foju, quitted the congregation of hand clappers at Ngoa- Ekellé Glass House, as the Anglophone Crisis entered a decisive stage.
Speaking to this reporter, Hon. Mbah Ndam said he has left Parliament, following strong request from his people.
On his part, the SDF Parliamentary Group Leader, Hon Joseph Banadzem, said his people have asked him to resign but he has to consult his party before taking a decision.
Other MPs from the Anglophone extraction are expected to quit in the days ahead.
