Cameroon: The Sub Divisional for Batibo Sub Division still missing

The search and man hunt mounted by the Rapid Intervention Forces BIR, Gendarmes and Police hasn't given any substantial results. Those who arrested him claim he is well treated and catered for much better than what his wife could have been giving him

The Sub Divisional Officer was whisked off from the grand stand during the 11th of February commemoration. Three Gendarmes were killed and the Sub Divisional Officer seized alongside his car and driver. The vehicle conveying them was burnt down and those who arrested him have taken him along. The office of the Sub Divisional Officer has been sealed to preempt the illicit use of his office.

Mark Barety reports that, it is suspected that La Republique attitude is geared towards to the fact that the arrested DO is an Anglophone and there is a “Je Ma Fool” attitude from them. They seem to be happy that this is happening to one of our own.
