Musonge-led bilingualism commission calls for patience in West Cameroon

The head of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism has urged Southern Cameroonians to remain patient as the Biya regime 'answers' their worries gradually.

Former PM Peter Mafany Musonge was speaking on Monday in Yaoundé as his commission tours some high-profile institutions in the country. The so-called courtesy visit will take them to parliament, the Prime Minister's Office and other institutions.
Musonge warned against destroying what "we have built" for years.
The people must remain patient while waiting for the answers to their questions. The answers are being dropped in one after another, he claimed.
This is call is a fore reaction to the most awaited 'independence demonstration coming up on October 1.'
The commission led by Musonge was created earlier in the year as part of solutions to the concerns raised by Southern Cameroons at the backdrop of what they term their marginalization by French Cameroon.
