Some inmates of the Bertoua Central Prison, have received the first Holy communion.
This took place during a baptism and confirmation mass officiated by the archbishop of Bertoua, Joseph Atanga.
Sources from that part of the country, indicated that the new converts were called upon to communion with one another and profess the holy trinity.
Initiatives such as this one spearheaded by the Bertoua Prelate, are often in a bit to endeavour that prisoners become completely transformed individuals the moment they finish serving their time behind bars.
