Cameroon: After Mile 16 and Muea, Ekona Under Military Harassment

The population of Ekona in Muyuka Sub Division of the South West Region got up early this morning awash my Biya’s troops of mass destruction. Doors of those who were still sleeping were shattered, why young men we arrested and whisked off into detention in Buea.
An old woman was reportedly shot, though Cameroon-Concord is still to independently confirm this information.

The Ekona incident is coming after armed militias raided Mile 16 and Muea in Buea Sub Division on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively and arrested scores of young people. After the September 22 peaceful demonstrations, Buea has been subjected military harassment.
