Cameroon military fires rockets at Ndaba deep inside Nigeria
Cameroon Special Forces known as the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR) fired rockets at Boko Haram positions on Thursday from Kolofata in Cameroon. The rockets targeted the Nigerian Islamic fighters in the locality of Ndaba, in the south of Borno State in Nigeria. According to our military informant, the army got intelligence that heavily armed Boko Haram militants had rallied at Ndaba and were planning a major onslaught inside Cameroon territory precisely in the Mayo-Sava Division.
Our source also added that a huge contingent of Boko Haram fighters moved from Dikwa to Soueram some 17 kilometres from Fotokol in the Logone and Chari constituency late last Sunday. This was followed by a massive deployment of Chadian troops on Wednesday, March 11 into Fotokol.
