Armed Men Destroy Road Repair Machines in Cameroon's Northwest Region
The situation in the Northwest Region of Cameroon remains tense as armed men continue to disrupt development efforts. Disturbing images have emerged from Njikwa Subdivision in the Momo Division, showing armed men destroying road repair machines.

Reports indicate that the armed men set fire to caterpillars that were carrying out road maintenance work on the Njikwa Mbengwi Road. This road has been the target of several attacks by Ambazonian separatist groups, who oppose any development projects during the ongoing conflict.
The destruction of road repair machines further exacerbates the challenges faced by local communities, depriving them of vital infrastructure and hindering access to essential services. The situation underscores the need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in the Northwest Region, allowing for the safe implementation of development projects and the restoration of normalcy to the affected areas.
