Cameroon: Consortium member Tassang Wilfred takes refuge at foreign embassy in Yaounde

The Executive Secretary General of the Cameroon Teachers' Trade Unions, CATTU- Tassang Wilfred has reportedly fled to Yaounde following plans to arrest him along with other Consortium members.

Tassang was also Director of Programs at the Consortium. For the meantime, internet connection seems still to be down in NW & SW regions of Cameroon. We should emphasis that the strike action continues now, even more, stronger.
