Douala: Dispute over a 100 frs CFA claimed the lives of 2 okada riders

Two young men were killed on Thursday in Douala, following an argument over 100 FCFA. Both Ngong Dickson, 20, and Hamadou Bayerou, 27 years of age, had a bitter exchange over a 100 frs CFA allegedly given to the two "bend skin" riders by a customer.

Dickson stabbed his friend (Hamadou) on the throat. After his crime, Dickson fled, but was caught by a hostile crowd and lynched. Their bodies have been deposited at the New Bell District Hospital mortuary in the Douala II district.
