Our Yaounde city reporter who contributed to this report revealed the French government was lobbying Etoudi to grant a presidential pardon to the disgraced Franco-Çameroonian advocate.

Barrister Lydienne Eyoum, accused of complicity in embezzlement and misappropriation of public funds by coercion at the expense of the liquidation of the former ONCPB was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the Special Criminal Court.
