Limbe Cameroon: Biya orders arrest of SDF district chairman, Godden Zama

Godden Zama, SDF Limbe electoral district chairman was has been arrested by Cameroon security forces at his residence in Limbe Cameroon.

At the time of filing this report, little was known as to the reasons behind his arrest nor where he was being detained.

Cameroon Concord gathered rom sources closed to the district chairman that security forces had been on a manhaunt looking or him all around Limbe.

Thesame sources say all this began about a week ago at same time when the Biya regime decided to kick start a massive arrest operation on prominent anglophone opposition heads.

Zama has been outspoken on several issues including the Anglophone problem in Cameroon.

His arrest today brings to at least five of some prominent Anglophones so far arrested. Agbor Agbor Nkongho, Mancho Bibixy , Dr Fontem Neba and justice Ayah Paul Abine had earlier been arrested. The arrest of Hon Wirba is also being rumoured.
