UN Staff, 2 Nigerians, 1 Cameroonian Killed By Armed Men Along Cameroon-Nigeria Borders
One staff of the United Nations, two Nigerians and a Cameroonian, working to implement the International Court of Justice ruling on Bakassi, were killed this morning by armed men, a Cameroonian newspaper has reported.
L’Oeil du Sahel said the UN staff, the two Nigerians and the Cameroonian were working on the implementation of the ruling of the International Court of Justice, which handed the oil-rich Bakassi peninsula over to Cameroon.
They were shot dead along the Nigeria-Cameroon borders, the newspaper said.
