Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

Of late the government of Cameroon has been held by the scrotum by Anglophone protesters to demonstrate bilingualism in all its facets. The ageing government in its desperation seems to be getting in more trouble to proof to the Cameroonians that it is truly bilingual. Some have described the “Get Bilingual Quick” schemes employed by the government as a big joke; they say the government is simply crucifying the queen’s language.

Many individuals have confirmed that translations made on signposts and texts contain many mistakes and it is more trouble for country especially now that the government is taking steps to boost its tourism sector.

“The government needs to accept that French was almost the lone language used in Cameroon. They should not hastily go and add wrong English phrases on old sign posts as though they existed long time ago. They should take time and employ a competent body to systematically change the signposts. Now when tourists will visit Cameroon and pass across such sign posts, it will be more disgraceful for the whole country” says an onlooker.
