Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi Takes Swift Action Against Impostors Undermining Ministry's Integrity
Determined to root out dishonest individuals within his ministerial department, Minister of Lands, Cadastre, and Land Affairs, Henri Eyebe Ayissi, leaves no stone unturned in his efforts to eradicate a phenomenon that evidently undermines his actions. Recently, two individuals were apprehended, falsely claiming to be representatives of Mindcaf.
According to information broadcast on the national radio channel, the two individuals presented themselves to a user as belonging to military security but on detachment to the office of the Minister of Lands, Cadastre, and Land Affairs. With the collaboration of law enforcement, these individuals were promptly apprehended. In their plea, they asserted to be individuals sent by Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi to facilitate the processing of the user's case.
It is worth noting that, thanks to the cooperation of the individual on the verge of being defrauded, the police were immediately alerted. Consequently, these forgers were caught in the act. Mindcaf, through its Secretary-General, announced that they have been handed over to military security for further investigation, which will undoubtedly ascertain responsibilities in this alleged scam.
This situation has gained momentum, especially with the fraudulent practices of some individuals falsely claiming affiliation with the Ministry of Lands, Cadastre, and Land Affairs. Internal investigations will also be conducted to determine if collaborators within the ministry are engaged in such practices.
