The Arrest Of Bidzongo Mbede Albert In The Martinez Zogo Case Sends Shockwaves Through The Military Tribunal
A notable development unfolds at the military tribunal in the Martinez Zogo case. BIDZONGO MBEDE ALBERT, the individual I brought to attention three days ago, has been apprehended in connection with the Martinez Zogo case.
Having been confronted on Thursday by Martinez Zogo's "bodyguards" (Alain Ekassi, MBASSI Etienne, VAN Shakar), who revealed that a few hours before his abduction, BIDZONGO ALBERT had met with Martinez Zogo. Posing as a captain at the DGRE, he claimed to be the nephew of Jean Pierre AMOUGOU Belinga and proposed a settlement. On that day, he was dressed in a white boubou.
However, investigations by the gendarmerie disclosed that BIDZONGO ALBERT is not a captain at the DGRE. Moreover, he was not recognized by DANWE. Furthermore, he is not the nephew of Jean Pierre AMOUGOU Belinga. Alongside Martinez Zogo, he had called the CEO of Vision 4, who did not answer the phone, as well as the bodyguard.
Summoned again to the military tribunal, BIDZONGO ALBERT faced AMOUGOU Belinga. Not only did he admit to never being authorized for any negotiations with Martinez Zogo, but he also acknowledged not being a member of Jean Pierre AMOUGOU Belinga's family. The CEO of Vision 4 admitted that BIDZONGO had called him once, identifying himself as a captain of the DGRE and later SEMIL. After his investigations, he discovered it was an "imposter" and did not answer his calls anymore.
Before the military magistrates this Friday, when asked why he did it, BIDZONGO ALBERT declared, "It's a strategy that we also use to survive." Another magistrate angrily remarked, "And you see in what situation you put people?"
That's not all; BIDZONGO ALBERT is purportedly the name of a deceased person that he used and had managed to obtain a false identity. He had encountered this person during his first stint in prison.
Therefore, the military tribunal has decided to arrest him for attempted fraud, forgery and use of false documents, identity theft, among other charges. The tribunal has gathered evidence confirming that BIDZONGO ALBERT is closely associated with Martin Stéphane SAVOM, who has been in detention for nearly a month for "complicity in torture.
