Government Embraces Forgery;
Some gov't insiders have hinted senior journalist Akuroh John Mbah that plans hatched to misrepresent the press releases of the Anglophone Consortium have been executed and a Photoshop version of the last press release has been compromised.
The fake press release purports that Members of the Consortium have called off the strike and urged parents, teachers and students to ensure schools reopen on Monday the 9th of January, 2017 in the North West and the South West regions.
Akuroh John talked with officials of the Consortium who are currently meeting somewhere in West Cameroon and the President- Agbor Balla and Vice- Tassang Wilfred insisted no press release N0. 13 had been signed since the last one was published. They pointed out categorically that THE STRIKES HAVE NOT BEEN SUSPENDED, noting that CLASSES SHALL NOT RESUME on Monday and the Day MUST be observed as a GHOST TOWN across West Cameroon.
Most importantly, the officials stated that; "THE STRIKES SHALL NEVER BE SUSPENDED BY PRESS RELEASE", holding that "WE SHALL SUSPEND THE STRIKE WHEN NECESSARY ONLY DURING A WIDELY PUBLICIZED PRESS CONFERENCE".
They urged vigilance on the part of the public, particularly parents, students and teachers, as well as lawyers.
All information and press releases of the Consortium can be obtained from the website ca-csc.org or the Facebook page (Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium).

How much money is money enough? The truth remains that the erstwhile Southern Cameroonian has been sidetracked for fifty four years and dejected to penury, hardship, dejection, frustration and bitterness.
Can money shared in bags by the state machinery aimed at shattering the planned ghost towns by the consortium? What has the state put in place as a well planned option to permanently resolve the grievances of the teachers and lawyers?
This noise and propaganda of telling the world that Schools shall resume in the South West is a continuation of the scheme of divide and rule which seemingly worked in the past and not today. This issue is far above some unscrupulous press men who have been bribed, above party politics and above personal greed.
It's the collective fight for the preservation of a threatened identity, that was aimed at extinction and a pogrom put in place for its systematic eradication. Our soldiers, Gendarmes, BIR and Police should look at themselves and ask soul searching questions like " As Anglophones were is our future in the military and Police"? "
Why have we always paid the heaviest prize at the war fronts such as the fight against armed robbers in the North and the fight against Boko Haram? This is part of the systematic pogrom of our very competent and qualified manpower. Why is Fame Ndongo sweating around to make sure Schools resume in the North West and South West Regions when he shamelessly told the world that the South West were sociologically and anthropologically linked to the Littoral Region?
Where he got such falsification, only God alone knows. English Language goes beyond the ability to prude it or parrot it. It's a culture, a way of life, an educational system called the Anglosaxon system of education, An accountability system loaded with checks and balances, A highly rated professional managerial system and above all a Judicial system highly balanced and above prejudice. May be this is what makes me an extremist .

Senior Journalist, John Mbah Akuroh has hit back at the Confederation of Anglophone Journalist Associations created by the Publisher of the Watchdog tabloid, Dotta Ezekiel for spearheading a movement which undermines the stance of a majority of Anglophone Journalists in the ongoing struggle to preserve and consolidate the Anglo saxon judicial, educational, and cultural heritage.
In his outburst, the fire brand media personality who works for the state media CRTV and manages the Times Journal has rubbished the move of Dotta by giving a strong backing to the lawyers and teachers; Insisting that the opinion of the Confederation does not reflect the general views of all Anglophone journalists.
READ ON:
"A group of hungry so-called journalists grouped under a yet-to-be known Confederation of Anglophone Journalism associations was caught sharing money at Ayaba Hotel in Bamenda this day to whomever wanted to collect so they could go and sell their message that students must return to school on Monday the 9th of January, 2017.
The said traitors, led by one Dotta Ezekiel who runs The Watchdog newspaper, specialized in dishing out awards to gullible politicians, posed as representing all Anglophone journalists in Cameroon.
In my capacity as President of the Cameroon Anglophone Publishers' Association, CANPA and Secretary General of the Commonwealth Journalists Association - CJA- Cameroon, hereby assert that we support the strikes and stand by the demands made, while insisting we back the calls for schools shutdown and ghost town until the demands presented are met."

The National Executive Secretary of Cameroon Teachers Trade Union, CATTU, Wilfred Tassang has revealed that the government of Cameroon is presently in a desperate attempt to forcefully get schools to resume come Monday Jan 9. Wilfred Tassang opined that “Huge sums of money were dulled out to traditional rulers this Christmas through governors to first class rulers, SDOs to second class and DOs to third class rulers to pressure the teachers.”
The money is part of the 24 billion FCFA paid by the Minister of Finance to CPDM business tycoon Baba Danpullo.
Cameroun Info.Net reported earlier today that Mr. Wilfred Tassang has sounded a note of caution to all traditional rulers against receiving such money to sell their consciences.
“Whilst we caution any of our fathers who have taken this money of wickedness not to further desecrate the throne and their authority by taking the wrong side in this struggle, we appeal to all stakeholders not get give up at this point in time, when victory is so close.”He added that “Those who are for us are more than those who are against us. That’s the only reason to be advanced for the fact the President’s speech leaked more than 3hrs to presentation. We have friends in very high places.” Wilfred Tassang observed that if the Biya Francophone Beti Ewondo government fails to force-start schools on the 9th, Yaoundé will also be forced to face the reality.
There have been multiple secret visits to Bamenda ever since the New Year by very highly placed CPDM government officials indicating yet another sign of desperation. Contrary to a position held by Justice Ayah Paul which called on the Anglophone leaders to give Biya a chance,it is evidently clear that the Biya regime up to now has not announced any measures taken to solve either the problems raised by lawyers or teachers. The Great Wilfred Tassang has appeal to all the teachers not to allow the strike to collapse. “If it does, we shall be greatly spited and the regime will not be under pressure to address these grievances.”
Mr Tassang has also warned union leaders against taking of bribes that will undermine the strike, in his words “For union leaders and others at the forefront of this struggle, beware! It has been revealed in the spirit realms, the release of a huge amount of VOODOO money meant to maim the brain and cause heavy carnage. We hereby call on all to fear God and resist the enemy that he may flee from us.”
The Executive Secretary of Cameroon Teachers trade Union however, reminded parents and the Anglophone student community that teachers and lawyers are not fighting for personal gains but to make Anglophone Cameroon children to be proud of belonging to a nation which they can call their own.
At the time of filing this report, information filtered out that Prime Minister Philemon Yang was en route to Bamenda in a bid to keep his job.The Teachers Trade Unionists say they have not been summoned to any meeting.
It was reported that the anti Anglophone Higher Education Minister, Jacques Fame Ndongo was in Kumba to lure teachers back into the classrooms

The call is coming at a time when the Prime Minister who earlier failed to reach a consensus with the protesting teachers is on his way to Bamenda for a crucial meeting Thursday January 5. observers say the highly awaited conclave will determine the destiny of the academic year in the two regions.
SYNES memebers from Buea and Bamenda are yet to comment on the call from their national executive.

The President of the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium, CACSC, who doubles as President of Fako Layers Association, Barrister Agbor Balla Felix, says President Paul Biya has not been well briefed on the issues raised by lawyers and teachers.
The Buea-based advocate added that “The President’s Speech has completely misjudged the situation for West Cameroonians whose education, culture, language and economic aspirations have been severely undermined over a period of 55 years.”In a Press release shortly after the State of the Nations address by Paul Biya on December 31, 2016, the Consortium’s leader noted that the speech calls for honest dialogue which they share and that the speech recognized the dishonest approach of governments previous efforts, hence they cannot determine whether or not negotiations will yield fruits unless the government shows good faith.
The Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium maintained that what is happening informer West Cameroon is “A grassroots movement for the restoration of the values that West Cameroon inherited at independence such as the democratic shield and Common law, which appear to have been severely undermined.”The Civil Society Organization said what happened in Bamenda, Buea and Kumba is blatant disregard of fundamental Human Rights which have been watched with horror both at home and abroad, thanks to the exposure of Social Media.
The Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium following these events has called on the Head of State to investigate and prosecute those who have facilitated or perpetrated the killings, rape and torture of English Speaking West Cameroonians. It maintained that the strike action shall continue this January until substantive dialogue is engaged.
