In a tragic turn of events, an ambush unfolded in Wum, northwest Cameroon, resulting in the loss of five lives. The victims, three soldiers and two gendarmes, were returning from Bamenda when they fell victim to an attack by Ambazonian forces. Adding to the tragedy, one of their vehicles hit a mine between Bamenda and Wum, claiming the lives of four servicemen, including two gendarmes and two soldiers.
