2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations: Prime minister to visit sports infastructure currently underconstruction

Cameroonian Philemon Yang will in the coming days visit  the progress of work at the construction site  of sports facilities in Yaounde, including Military stadium, the stadium Omnisports and its annexes. After Yaounde,The PM will proceed to the Southwest where he will visit the Omnisports stadium in Limbe and also playing grounds in Buea currently under rehabilitation.

This second announced visit of the Prime Minister  and Head of Government on the construction sites of sports infrastructure is in preparation for the inspection visit of CAF representatives in Cameroon on 25 July 2016.

The representatives shall be inspecting all the above mentioned playing grounds to access the standard of work and if they have met the official recommendations set aside by CAF to be qualified to host tournaments.

All these measures are in preparations for the upcoming 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations which  is scheduled from 19 November to 3 December 2016 to be hosted by Cameroon.
