Breaking

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have defeated the Atlas Lions of Morocco 1-0 during the first qualifying match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The lone goal of the encounter in Yaoundé was scored by striker Aboubakar Vincent at the 28th minute.
Unfortunately for the Lions, their comrade, Oyongo Bitolo Ambroise, got injured during the early minutes of the game. He is currently in a military hospital in Yaoundé. He may have to miss some matches.
This victory gives the Lions and fans fresh impetus as they prepare to face world champions,Germany, and South American giant,Chile, during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. Cameroonians believe that this victory could give enough hope of thrashing the two nations who have beaten the team of the all-powerful  Messi in two separate finals in a row. First it was the FIFA World Cup in Brazil with Germany, then Copa America recently with Chile.
Aboubakar has gained more trust from Cameroonians, as he continues to score most needed goals. It started in Gabon when he scored a spectacular winning goal that helped Cameroon beat Egypt 2-1 to win the trophy.
Aboubakar currently plays for Besiktas in the Turkish Super League.
Cameroon fly to Spain on Sunday against an international friendly match with Colombia on Tuesday.
