CAMEROON LEAGUE ONE CHAMPIONSHIP: STATISTICS OF DAY ONE
The Cameroon Professional football championship finally started last weekend after it has been postponed on four different occasions. Newly promoted Feutcheu FC of Djiko Bandjoun traveled to beat New Stars in Douala, Coton Sports of Garoua sent out warning signals to other clubs in the title race by defeating Stade Renard and green horns Colombe of the South hold Union to a 2-2 draw.
Statistically, a total of 17 goals were scored in the 9 matches played across the national territory, a total of 7 victories were recorded, three of them away wins and just two matches ended in a stalemate. The Colombe Vs Union match produced the highest number of goals in a single game which is 4.
