Confederation of African Football Championship: Apejes of Mfou knocked out
Apejes of Mfou has bowed out of the 2017 Confederation of African Football Championship in spite a 1-0 win over Asec Mimosas of Abidjan.
The Cameroonian First Division club leaves the competition on a 2-1 aggregate after their were defeated 2-0 during the away leg by Asec Mimosar.
The Mfou team, joins Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda who was defeated by the Club Sfatien of Tunisia despite their one all tie during the return leg.
Note worthy is the fact that, Coton sports of Garoua is the only local Cameroonian team that has qualified to the quater-finals stage of the competition after defeating CNAPS of Madagascar.
UMS of Loum was earlier booted out of the competition by the FC Leopards of Congo.
