"Boko Haram has the potential to strike our big cities including Douala and Yaounde" Military Source

Cameroon security forces have announced that acts of terrorism are being planned throughout the national territory.  A leading security source made the revelation to Cameroon Concord late last night following the deadly twice attack in Maroua, the capital of the Far North region and home of the command operation center in the fight against the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

Boko Haram terrorists, hinted our military informant now have the potential to strike our big cities including Douala and Yaounde. President Biya 82, has ordered the strengthening of security throughout the national territory particularly in places of worship, markets, stations, airports and stadiums. Cameroonian police and the secret service have began sending out text messages to citizens reminding them of the necessity to be vigilant at all times. A hotline has been established and the gendarmerie and the police have also made public green numbers all in a bid to counter-terrorism. 

Boko Haram atrocities in Cameroon is putting too much pressure on the country's ill equipped hospitals due to many deaths and cases of amputation including open fractures. Doctors in the Far North region are appealing for help from outside. These unprecedented fracas have not yet been claimed by Boko Haram.
