Chad says Boko Haram operations manager in Northern Cameroon arrested

Chadian prosecutor Alghassim Khamis and Interior Minister Abdelrahim Bireme have both announced that Boko Haram operations manager in Chad and Northern Cameroon has been arrested by Chadian forces. Bana Fanaye alias Mahamat Mustapha was arrested yesterday afternoon with two of his companions. 

The Chadian authorities reported that Mustapha was responsible for logistics and oversees the purchase of arms, recruitment and management of the Islamic fighters. Chadian police searched his home and discovered weapons, communication equipments and over fifty SIM cards from different countries of the Sub Saharan region. The arrest assisted police to pick up many other Boko Haram militants in a compound at  Diguel Diguessou.
