Afrobasket 2017: Cameroon is boxed out of competition by Nigeria

It was a game which had a whole lot of threes raining down, especially from Diogu for Nigeria and Bogmis on the Cameroonian side. Mballa on his part equally had a great game. His leadership in the encounter, even though superb, could not help his team.

Notwithstanding, Cameroon played very well, if not for the defence lapses. They gave Nigeria so much breathing space, and that is how they slipped in their baskets.

Nigeria now have their spot for the semis. They are gradually nearing the opportunity to defend their title.
