Breaking

André Onana reflects on the individuals who have helped him succeed and forgets Samuel Eto'o.

Cameroonian goalkeeper, André Onana, opened up about the people who have contributed to his success as a professional footballer. He credits his family for playing an essential role in his achievement. The Manchester goalkeeper, who has played for Ajax and Inter, also mentioned his wife and close relatives as significant pillars in his journey to the top level. In an interview relayed by Allez les Lions, Onana attributes much of his success to the importance of family and social support in his life.

Additionally, André Onana also praised other prominent figures in Cameroonian football, such as Roger Milla, who paved the way for the current generation of players. He expresses pride and honor in being African, highlighting the positive impact of these iconic figures on his career and identity.

Having been trained at the FC Barcelona's La Masia academy and having evolved under the wing of the Samuel Eto'o Foundation in Douala, Onana did not mention the influence of these institutions in his development as a footballer.

Relations between the two personalities appear to have been strained since the last World Cup in Qatar.
