Cameroon: 20 soccer team members injured in road accident
At least five members of Renaissance of Ngoumou are reportedly injured after an accident on Friday.
The incident occurred when the football team was returning from Ngaoundere after a match of Day 31st of Elite II Championship against the University Football Club of Ngaoundere.
The coach of the team claimed that the accident could be blamed on the driver. According to him, some passengers said the driver was dosing off when the bus ran out of control at a bend.
For now we have not had the reaction of the driver.
Renaissance de Ngoumou is based in Yaoundé.
The match took place on September 6.
