Samuel Etoo wants to leave Antalyaspor, but his club doesn’t agree

For some days now, there have been rumours about Samuel Etoo, the Cameroonian international, making a move to some Turkish teams especially Fenerbahce. With all of this, he still has a year with Antalyaspor and the team’s president says he is not ready to let go of the indomitable lions’ former captain.

When spoken to, Etoo’s agent Wilfried De Happi, reacted saying his player has done so much for the Turkish team, scoring 38 goals in two years and registering 11 assists. “Now at the age of 36, he thinks he deserves better than what he gets” the agent explained.

Antalyaspor’s club president does not want to hear anything about transfer especially not concerning Etoo. He said that he might favour his departure out of Turkey, but if it is within the country he is unlikely to consider it.

Looking at how Etoo’s future could be with the Turkish side, his agent explained that, it will be difficult for someone to give in their best, if they don’t have a free mind. So Etoo might not still perform as good as he did for the past two years with the club.
