Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

Etoundi Charles, the principal of Government Bilingual High School of Foumban in the West Region, was murdered at his residence on Saturday 23 September by unknown individuals.

Circumstances leading to the late teacher's death are still unrevealed even though, people are already bringing up suggestions that could guide investigators to the perpetrators and the reason why they had to take away Charles' life.

One of the concerned,Paul Chouta, explained that Etoundi Charles was transferred from Lycee de Mballa 2 in Yaounde to Foumban. At that time, his predecessor in the West Region had been having a hard time with his students as well as colleagues and was finally moved to different functions after just two years in the school.

The late principal, after spending some time with the Foumban High school, equally started facing the same problems.  Students were complaining about his policies, saying they were harsh. Paul Chouta further reveals that, the students did not like the dress code the new principal was imposing on them as they preferred to stick to their Bamoum tradition. They wanted to do things their way.
