Cameroon: Cat calls greets photos of disgraced former GM and Minister
Photos of the disgraced former general manager of the Cameroon Radio and Television Cooperation taken inside his prison cell at the Kondengui detention center in Yaounde has met with mixed reactions from the public. While outraged was expressed in some quarters, others were quick to laugh at what they consider the misfortunes of a former senior ally of the Biya regime.
Many on the streets of Yaounde observed that the former GM who created a beautiful religious choral group and celebrated numerous Holy Masses sang the praises of God during the day and emptied the coffers of the Cameroon Radio and Television by night. The image of the former Minister Delegate to the Minister of Communication also did attract reactions from some media gurus with the Editor of French weekly newspaper, Mutation saying it was a maneuver that involved the Gervais Mendo Ze family in an attempt to get him released. An acolyte of the former minister and general manager noted that his family had nothing to do in this case.
