Female thief caught at the Feu Rouge Neighbourhood in Douala
A woman specialized in the act of breaking into homes and making away with valuables has been captured by the elements of the Mbobi Gendarmerie Brigade
Reports say before being apprehended, the lady had earlier robbed house around the Anciene Troisieme neighbourhood and made away with household equipment and other valuables.
Neighbours of the victim testify that the woman with a very good sense of humour and a smile that seems to be unending told them that she was the sister of the person leaving in the house before looting the contents of the apartment into a nearby Pick-up truck.
Sources disclose that in the same spirit, the robber continued with her raiding spree to other parts of the town until on fateful Wednesday April 26, 2017 when her expedition went sour around the Feu Rouge Besenge Neighbourhood. As the saying goes, 99 days for thief & 1 day for the owner, the sweet stories she recounted did not hold water according to her audience. Before the robber could know it, the neighbours had already called the owner of the house who came with elements of the Gendarmerie and bundled the hoodlum away.
Eye witnesses say at the time of her arrest, she had in her possession various tools and countless keys used to open doors of victims.
