Cameroon former Prime Minister involved in fatal accident
Cameroon’s former Prime Minister Simon Achidi Achu survived a ghastly car accident on the Douala-Baffoussam highway. Cameroon Concord gathered that the elephant of Santa was returning home from a trip to Douala and his Toyota SUV collided with another car killing three persons. The former PM’s bodyguard sustained minor injuries but fired bullets into the air to disperse an angry crowd that approached the scene of the accident. Our Baffoussam reporter revealed at the time of writing this report that eyewitnesses of the accident claim the former Prime Minister’s driver should be held responsible as his recklessness caused the accident.
