Cameroon: Python discovered at BEAC Limbe and burned, head disappears
Limbe was again struck with panic yesterday at BEAC office as a python was discovered, captured and burnt to ashes but the head disappeared into thin air.
The population present at the courtyard of the highly respectable Bank expressed absolute shock at the incident.
“I could not believe my eyes when I saw the burned snake in the wheelbarrow carried from the BEAC premises” says a shocked onlooker. My friend called me on phone but I could not believe what he was telling me. Now I have seen it too but I am shocked because I can’t understand how a python can enter and take abode in such a heavily guarded edifice” he adds.
According to eye witnesses, the body of the highly dreaded snake was immediately burned to ashes but it was later discovered that the head of the constrictor was absent from the fire.
Onlookers suspect that a high ranking Bank official could have been involved in fetish or witchcraft practices.
“I suspect that the snake surely belonged to one of the high level central bank officials in Limbe” says another eye witness. “They have taken out the head deliberately so that the person will not die. The owner of the snake surely belongs to a mystical sect or cult and is using the snake to protect his position or to take the good luck of others for him/herself” She adds.
