Cameroon’s eight state universities re-open for the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year
Students from Cameroon's eight state universities and higher institutions, have began studies for the academic year 2016/2017 .Students could be seen in their number in the Uni Complexes of Bamenda (North West), Buea (South West), Douala (Littoral), Dschang (West), Maroua (Far North) Ngaoundéré (Adamawa), Yaoundé I and II (Centre).
According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Higher Education, more than 500 000 students are enrolled in the eight (8) state universities and private higher institutions of Cameroon, on behalf of the academic year 2016/2017 .
The expectations are high as the Students hope to receive each a laptop as promised by President Paul Biya last July.
