Dual Nationality in the Cameroons: An Economic Perspective

Tapang Ivo Tanku, activist and Journalist argues why the Cameroons government should accept and make dual nationality legal for Cameroonians who have obtained other nationalities abroad. For all ends, dual nationality favours the Cameroons people and most especially the economy.

However, BaretaNews noted that there is a political take for the government's refusal to accept dual nationality. Biya and his crime syndicate are afraid of Cameroonians who might challenge them politically with many having huge financial foundation and/or western government using some to topple the regime back home.
