Some 15 villagers of Wokaka village have been arrested and detained following orders from the Divisional Officer for Buea,Kouam Wokam Paul. It is alledged that the villagers were caught removing pillars from lands in the village.But other sources say the detained men and women were taking part in a clean up campaign. 

The chief of Wokaka village;HRH Njombe Johnson alerted the D.O who sent security forces to arrest and detain the farmers Saturday September 24,2016.
