Guy Lobe: Exit of an icon

French speaking Cameroon journalist Thiery Ngogang reported that Cameroonian music icon Guy Lobe has died in Yaounde. Thiery Ngogang made the news public on his face book page.  Our reporters in Yaounde have now confirm this sad news. Guy Lobe has had a very successful music career winning so many national and international awards. He survived a heart attack in Paris, France some years ago which eventually took him off the public. He was in Cameroon to promote his new album and also to participate in celebrations marking one year after Lapiro de Mbanga when he took ill. Recovering from his health problems from a Paris based hospital, Guy Lobe organized a very close wedding ceremony with his long time partner. Adieu Guy!!
