Njonga Bernard, former president of ACDIC and the leader of CRAC political party and a seasoned agricultural engineer,is leading a protest in front of the ministry of livestock fisheries and animal industry in Yaounde demanding the immediate reopening of Fowl markets so that Poultry farmers could trade with customers.

This comes after a release by APF,Alliance for Progressive Forces,led by Alice SADIO ,calling on the Government to release some protesters arrested last June as well as reopen markets and compensate Poultry farmers.

Bernard Njonga was arrested on June 30 and later released.
