Homelessness, disease, poverty, poor maintenance culture, corruption, the complete absence of an acceptable transport network is rocketing and millions languish in poorly equipped hospitals around the country. But this CPDM Government are oblivious to the human suffering this is causing. The government dither over rent controls in urban centres, do nothing to answer the urban questions and propose miniscule home-building no more accepted even in mother France. They allow sell-offs of land in Southern Cameroons territory when these could be used to alleviate the poverty crisis. They actually cut salaries, increased social insurance contribution and gave sweeteners to the local population by pretending to decentralize the National Social Insurance Fund.
There are currently so many concocted judicial proceedings which have generated clashes among senior dignitaries of the regime. Biya is a political disaster that has been around for the last 33 years. We can’t and won’t wait any longer for action. The new anti- terrorism law was enacted to stifle the right to protest-just so the rich CPDM families can get richer. The so called emergency plan is a bonanza for Mr. Biya and members of the CPDM Central Committee including those of the National Executive Committee of the SDF to increased their wealth. The new economic plan is built on very low salaries and diminished rights for the majority. To be sure, it is inherently unfair and offers no future.
Yet, the CPDM government and its SDF collaborators are defending this inequality by attacking those who resist it. Soldiers killed innocent students at the University of Buea protesting against dubious admission policy into the School of Medical Science. Now those who ordered the killings are running away from doctors made in Cameroon and are seeking treatment abroad. Consequently, the French now have the bill of health of all senior Cameroon government officials.
The recent reorganization of the CPDM Government by President Biya painted a picture of a system that is bound to fail. Many of the ministers are the same men who have ruined the country. One of the most incompetent Cameroonian citizens ever, Laurent Esso, Minister of State in charge of Justice in the new cabinet, was appointed Minister of Justice in 1996 and headed the justice department till 2000. He was successively Minister of Public Health in 2000; Minister Delegate in charge of Defense in 2001; Minister of State in charge of External Relations and Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic in 2006. In 2011 he returned as the head of the Ministry of Justice succeeding another recycled CPDM minister, Amadou Ali. So, his appointment on October 2nd, 2015 as Minister of Justice is simply an excellent backward trend.
Martin Belinga Eboutou, Director of the Civil Cabinet at the presidency of the republic is the cold schemer plotter of the regime. He was Director of State Protocol since 1989. He was later appointed Director of the Civil Cabinet from 1996 to 1997. He was sent as Cameroon Representative to the United Nations. In June 30, 2009, a presidential decree brought him back as head of the Directorate of the Civil Cabinet-a post he still holds even after the last cabinet shakeup.
Pierre Ismael Bidoum Mkpatt was a Cameroonian artist and a relation to the first lady Chantal Biya. Appointed Minister of Sports and Physical Education from 2000 to 2004, the October 2nd, 2015 presidential decree gave him back the same job he left in 2004. Philippe Mbarga Mboa was appointed Minister in charge of Missions at the Presidency on August 2002 to December 2004. In 2004, he was appointed Minister of Sports and Physical Education. In 2011, he was back again as Minister in charge of mission at the Presidency of the Republic.
Louis Paul Motaze, current Minister of Economic Planning had been in that ministerial department from 2007 to 2011, when he was appointed Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s Office. Martin Mbarga Nguele, the national police boss, had already been Delegated General for National Security from 1983 to 1984. He returned to the policing business in 2010. Amadou Ali has been everything but Head of State. No wonder, some cabinet ministers from the Far North were quick to tell Prime Minister Philemon Yang recently that they wanted to visit their own head of government in a hospital in France.
If we aim to build a movement for fundamental change where wealth is used to benefit the majority not the few in the CPDM Central Committee and House of Senate, Anglophones and Francophones should and must read from the same script. There should be a general demand for the closure of the Special Criminal Court. All the members of the special police unit carrying out spying operation on the Cameroonian Diaspora should stop doing so. The Cameroonian Diaspora should suspend indefinitely all economic activity with the country and clamour for regime change.

The President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency Paul Biya has received in audience the French Secretary of State for Development and La Francophonie, Annick Girardin. The Monday 2nd of November 2015 audience at the Unity Palace was an opportunity for both parties to discuss the refugee crisis in the Far North and East regions and terrorism in the country.
The French Secretary of State for Development told local and international media that their discussions centred on security and reinforcing relation between Cameroon and La Francophonie. She reiterated President Francois Hollande’s support to Cameroon in the fight against the terrorist group, Boko Haram.
Madam Annick Girardin revealed French plans to continue to assist Cameroon with the Central African and Nigerian refugees camped by Cameroon in the Far North and East Regions. She also updated the Cameroonian dcitator on the Climate Change Summit to be hosted in Paris-France from 30th November 2015 to the 11th December 2015.
The special envoy expressed optimism with the situation of climate change in Africa specifically Cameroon and she said solutions will be sought during the Paris Climate Summit. The French government official was accompanied by the French Ambassador to Cameroon, Christine Robichon. She will be in Cameroon for the next two days after a sojourn stay in the Central African Republic to access the crisis in the country.

Nigerian government troops have clashed with terrorists from Boko Haram Takfiri group in northeastern part of the African country, killing four militants. The army said in a Monday statement that the troops managed to drive Boko Haram extremists out of an abandoned primary school in the area in a shootout a day earlier. The terrorists had been using the school as a transit camp, the statement added.

More than fifty people have now been named by the judicial police investigation that started on May the 6th, 2009 relating to the Gervais Mendo Ze/CRTV Affair. The commission has made it public that some highly placed government officials are implicated in the financial scandal that rocked the Cameroon Radio and Television. Minister Jacques Fame Ndongo and former Minister of Labour, Robert Nkili are among the new names mentioned in the judicial police report. Cameroon Concord learned some have died and others are without addresses. The list also includes names of expatriates who benefited premiums and special postmarks.
Correspondingly, General Benoit Asso'o Emane, former Commander of the first military legion in Yaounde and former Minister of National Education, Joseph Mboui including Hon. Mvondo Meba, a nephew of President Biya were also cited in the document. The report of the judicial police, shows in detail that former Minister of Communication (MINCOM) and External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo, jointly and severally with his predecessor at MINCOM, Jacques Fame Ndongo, are likely to be charged with laxity having facilitated the misappropriation of public funds.
As Chairman of the Board of Directors of CRTV, which by extrapolation is the Minister of Communication, CRTV provides numerous benefits. For instance, three servants, a security officer, two drivers, a Secretary and a mission planner known as Chargé de mission. The Board Chairman also receives a monthly allowance of 3,000,000 CFA FRANCS representing function benefits, maintenance of the vehicle and housing, production premium, staffing, communication credit and fuel. The Chairman also banks an attendance fees of 1 400 000 FCFA per session of the Governing Council.

The resignation of some highly placed CPDM officials in order to vie for elective positions and the decision that barred all North West Fons from contesting for posts within the ruling CPDM party has put the reorganization exercise in the North West Region at crossroads. Intrigues, manipulations, blackmail and the consensus idea brought in by some Fons and rejected by some interested persons has continued to make headline news in the region. Cameroon Concord’s Samuel Bantar paints the prevailing situation in this soul-searching report:
The journey began in Mezam-former Bamenda 1 which has been divided into 3 zones with Bamenda 1b that host the lucrative Congress Hall considered the hottest Section president seat. Here, Tazong Abel Ndeh [former Government Delegate to the Bamenda city Council], Tawa Cresy and Rose Saningam are all in for the race described by some political commentators as a clash of the Titans.
As CPDM customs and tradition demands the winner here must be the anointed one with blessings from the Fon of Mankon, 1st Vice National President of the CPDM and Minister Atanga Nji Paul. Mezam 2 involving the Bafourchou´mafia in Santa has her share of problems. With J.B.Ndeh out of the race, Fru Jonathan, the CPDM Central Committee delegate to the locality has declared himself a candidate contrary to party text. It is alleged that he bullied Michael Shupong to submission and has also been accused of accepting an over aged candidate for the post of YCPDM section president. Former Prime Minister and Senator, Simon Achidi Achu has been watching the drama from a distance and looks helpless. To be sure, in Bamenda 1a, there are 5 lists; Bamenda 2b, 4 lists and Bamenda 3-Nkwen is still quiet and relaxed.
In Mbengwi, cat calls had greeted the sacking of Ama Tutu Muna from government putting the party in that area in shambles. Supporters of the former Minister are undecided on which direction to follow. At the close of a meeting to select a candidate for section president, a motion of support and a peaceful match to thank the Head of State for appointing one of theirs Mbah Fomundam as Minister of State Audit was openly rejected by section president-Tembi Jacob whom it is alleged acted on Ama Tutu Muna’s instructions. Ama Muna was heard murmuring privately that Mbah Fomundam is not a politician. As head of the reorganization exercise in Menchum Division, Ama Muna boycotted the opening ceremony claiming it was a day of national mourning for victims of the Mina stampede in Saudi Arabia. Hon. Wallang Richard, Chop Cyprian and Mayor Dighambong Anthony who has reportedly gotten the backing from the Aghem Fons will all be challenging each other for post of Section president of Wum.
The Bafut story was a combined comedy and tragedy as a consensus list brought in by the Fon and headed by Ndifongwa Emmanuel was rejected by Tumngwa Henry, Mbonifor Kennedy and 3 other persons who want the job. The poor state of the road to Donga/Mantung Division did not hinder Mr. Tamfu Simon, head of the delegation to sort out matters in Nwa between the incumbent section president, Hon. Mbucksek Genesis and Mayor Ngomfe Loma-David. Cameroon Concord sources hinted that the mayor has secured party cards ahead of the battle. In Ndu, Abdou Borno Kanfon is enjoying a quiet day as he is the lone candidate while in Nkambe uncertainty still hangs over the candidacy of either Ngala Gerald or Ngabi Paul. In Oku, Ngum Jerome may win as the local population sees the current section president as an absentee landlord. Ngonketungia Division has been described by Dr. Calistus as smooth. Although elections have been held in some areas, tension seems to be mounting throughout the North West region.
