A group of angry youths in Bafia Village, Muyuka Sub Division went amok in the early hours of Tuesday September 19, disrupting lectures at its lone Government High School and upsetting commercial activities at the village market.
The youths reportedly pledged allegiance to the Southern Cameroons Ambazonia Consortium United Front, SCACUF, and chased students and teachers out of classrooms.
Tutors on duty were forced to lift their hands up and paraded across the streets chanting secessionists’ songs.

The people of Southern Cameroons are carrying out mass mobilisation ahead of President Paul Biya’s address to the United Nations tomorrow.
Biya’s address at the UN concerning the Anglophone Crisis may either make or mar Cameroon.
A few days ago, the Southern Cameroons ‘Governing Council’ that took over from the outlawed Anglophone Consortium, called for street demonstrations in the Northwest and Southwest Regions on September 22.
The population is on tenterhooks and Biya must watch-out.

The brain behind the proposed Common Law Lawyers’ Conclave in Mamfe, Barrister Abane Ntui, who is the Vice President of the outlawed Manyu Lawyers’ Association (MALA), has mysterious gone into oblivion.
News of the learned Barrister’s apparent missing days barely 48 hours to the September 23 rendezvous has stunned not only the lawyers but the population as in whole.
Barrister Abane Ntui, who was the host of the Common Law Lawyers conference, is reportedly out of reach.

The President of the Anglophone Civil Society Consortium, Barrister Felix Agbor Balla, has appealed to the population to join forces in liberating prisoners.
He was speaking at the Buea Central Prison on Tuesday, September 19, while visiting the inmates of that prison.
According to him, the release of detainees can only be possible if collective efforts are made.
“After visiting these inmates and sharing their sentences, I say once again that collective efforts are needed to release all prisoners,” Agbor Balla averred.During this visit, he held a two-hour meeting with 20 inmates, who are detained in connection with the ongoing Anglophone Crisis.

It's on record that ever since the wife of Ahmadou Ali was hijacked by the Boko Haram insurgents, his health has not been so robust. The President of the National Assembly of LA Republique Du Cameroun received s strange stranger yesterday at about 10am who pretentiously presented himself as a journalist who had come with twenty copies of a Maroua based Newspaper tagged Reperes to present them to the President of the National Assembly.
When questioned and asked to identify himself, he adamantly refused to bulge. It was at this instance at about 12pm yesterday, that the close associates and collaborators and his security chief,Boukar Ahmadou that he was encircled and searched. This drama lasted close to fifty five minutes. Thereafter when obliged to leave the National Assembly he admitted he had dropped twenty copies of his newspaper,Reperes destined for the Speaker of the National Assembly.
