Anglophone crisis: Mob seizes gun from police officer after deadly shooting in Bamenda
Angry protesters have reportedly seized a pistol from a police officer after losing one of theirs.
The protesters were from their way to drop the corpse of a man shot by the police at Old Town in Bamenda in a mortuary.
They are believed to have run into an officer guarding a hospital where an injured person was receiving medical attention. The man was shot on the leg.
About five protesters are said to have attacked the armed police officer before seizing the weapon.
Several cases of severe shootings have been reported across Ambaland. It's difficult for the moment to say exactly how many people have been shot or killed.
