Anglophone Struggle: South West governor names protesters "dogs"
The Governor of the South West Region has referred to Southern Cameroonian protesters as "dogs" who will face the wrath of "security forces" as long as they take to the streets to "bite".
Bernard Okalia Bilai was speaking to state propaganda machine, CRTV, following the mass pre-independence protests that shocked his administration on Friday.
"Everyone should go to their family, village and catch their dog. If dogs continue to take to the streets to bite, that's to destroy, they will meet with security forces," he was quoted as saying by Cameroon-Info.Net quoting CRTV.
