Unveiling Tomorrow's Cameroon Through Today's News

Breaking

The inhabitants of Bamenda are planning to give the reinstatement of the internet in the North West a welcome that has been described by many as one of a kind; they plan to observe a one day ghost town to commemorate the event.

A Bamenda local says “we cannot be distracted from the fight. The reinstatement of the internet is just one of the many demands we made to the state. The Anglophone problem remains unsolved and so we will dedicate a one day ghost town to cool down this excitement and make the population understand that internet was their basic right from the very start and should not have been taken away in the first place”.

Nji Tagne Vince, a critic, thinks Paul Biya should be impeached for trampling at will on the rights of others and playing a hero afterwards.

“Paul Biya is now behaving like God who can do what he wants when he wants. He orders the reinstatement of the internet to the two Anglophone regions and plays a hero. This type of behaviour is criminal and perpetrators need to be judged and sentenced accordingly” says Nji.
