MANCHO BIBIXY SPEAKS ABOUT COURT APPEARANCE.
Speaking to a friend who visited them this week he justified his shabby appearance in court as a sign of the hunger strike they were going thru. For those who cried seeing him that way he said he had no regrets. It was not meant to provoke tears but action. He stated that he was not in prison to entertain anyone with nice dresses. That he is planing to appear naked next time. He said he knew the consequence of being arrested but stayed on. That his close friends forbah Jude and Piterechu pressured him to escape but he refused. That after the arrest of Balla and fontem even government officials called him to escape but he refused. He was ready to stay and be arrested. About the GCE he said he is also a history teacher and has not taught since November 2016, his two schools Have remained locked since November and he is in prison with 3 of his evening school students who are to write the exams.
Asked about any difficulties in prison he complained of overcrowding. no water, hot temperatures illnesses and legalized corruption. About the court case he said there is no case.He refused to explain but reported there is no case.He asked me if Kenya can go and arrest Nigerians and come to judge them in Kenya?on feeding he said they eat once a day and the food is provided by contributions from anglophones and food is almost finished. That he rejected several offers from LA republic. He swore to die poor or die in prison than touch blood stained evil money from such a terrorist regime. He describes LA republic as an animal that eats its own children. Asked if any negotiations have been proposed he said negotiations have ended.its either freedom for us or total elimination of us all.
Asked how his family survives he said he was the sole bread winner for a family of 9 n doesn't know how they eat especially that 4 of the 9 are below 7yrs.he said they must learn to suffer as the coming days may even be more di fficult.I did not ask his permission b4 publishing this but thought its good to share.I've never seen a young man full of courage n determination.
Boiling with assurance even in prison. I went in feeling depressed but came out fulfilled. I remembered his last words near that old dirty plank gate.somehow someday Justice will rule over evil n we will leave this place n sit on tables to define our destiny.even if am not there, children of my nation will be there n I will smile in my grave.
