Southern Cameroons: SCACUF's adopt a teacher platform gaining grounds
The Southern Cameroons Ambazonia Consortium United Front(SCACUF) has launched an Adopt a Teacher application and Adopt a Teacher platform to seek funds in helping Teachers in the North and south west regions of cameroon who have gone for months without salaries ever since the struggle for the restoration of the statehood of Southern Cameroons began.
HOW ADOPT A TEACHER WORKS
- Teachers will submit their applications.
- SCACUF will review and verify applications to ensure they are teachers
- Profiles of verified and approved teachers will be posted on SCACUF website.
- Sponsors will visit website and pick teacher(s) they would like to sponsor and how long they would like to sponsor those teachers.
- Sponsors will sends money to adopted teacher using any money transfer service.
- Sponsors will visit SCACUF website after wiring money and upload receipt from the money transfer service so SCACUF can confirm that teacher was sponsored in order to remove them from the list of teachers needing sponsors.
- Once receipt is validated by SCACUF, the sponsor is given access to adopted teacher's phone number so they could text them their names and the reference number.
